Delivering decadence.
Quite literally.
When your business specialises in luxury wedding cakes, elegant patisserie and some seriously impressive sweet creations, even the delivery van needs to look the part.
For GC Couture, we designed, printed and installed a bespoke set of vinyl graphics on their white Citroën Dispatch, combining soft turquoise stripes, elegant gold lettering and illustrated details to create a vehicle that's every bit as stylish as the cakes it carries.
Nothing too loud. Nothing overdone.
Just a rather lovely bit of branding with a sweet side.

From beautiful cakes to beautiful branding.
GC Couture isn't your everyday cake shop.
Based in Mayfair, with a production facility in Hatch End, the company creates luxury wedding cakes, celebration cakes, cupcakes and bespoke dessert displays for some pretty impressive occasions.
Think elegant weddings, prestigious London venues and cakes that look almost too good to eat.
Almost.
We've worked with GC Couture across various creative projects, from brand identity and bespoke illustration to printed materials, photography and marketing design.
So when it came to giving their delivery van a fresh look, we already had a pretty good understanding of the style we wanted to achieve.
The aim was to create something that felt unmistakably GC Couture.
Elegant, distinctive and just a little bit playful.
Because even the fanciest cake brand needs a bit of personality.
A minty fresh take on vehicle graphics.
The most prominent feature of the design is the soft turquoise striped graphic running along the upper side panels of the van.
Rather than wrapping the entire vehicle, we used carefully shaped printed panels to create a distinctive band of colour that follows the existing bodywork.
The stripes introduce a beautiful contrast against the white paintwork, giving the van a light, elegant appearance without overwhelming it.
Sitting within the turquoise panels is the GC Couture logo, accompanied by the words PURVEYORS OF LUXURY CAKES and MAYFAIR.
The refined lettering and soft colour palette help communicate the premium nature of the brand.
It's recognisable without being overpowering.
And it makes a nice change from the usual enormous logo slapped across the side of a white van.
A little illustration goes a long way.
One of our favourite details is the illustrated character positioned on the front side door.
Dressed in black and turquoise, she's carrying an impressive tiered cake with the sort of confidence we'd probably struggle to maintain while transporting several layers of buttercream.
It's a lovely piece of brand storytelling.
The illustration introduces a human element to the graphics and gives the vehicle a distinctive character without needing to fill every panel with artwork.
Alongside it, the words DELIVERING DECADENCE appear in elegant gold-style script across the sliding door.
A simple phrase that sums up the business rather nicely.
The combination of illustration, typography and carefully chosen colours makes the van feel connected to the wider GC Couture identity.
Not just a delivery vehicle.
A little extension of the brand itself.
Printed panels with a properly tailored fit.
Creating good vehicle graphics isn't simply a case of printing some artwork and sticking it on.
Every vehicle has its own shapes, curves, panel gaps and awkward little features to contend with.
The Citroën Dispatch has long upper side panels and distinctive body lines, which gave us an opportunity to create printed graphics that sit neatly within the vehicle's existing proportions.
For this project, we produced high-quality printed vinyl panels, carefully cut to follow the required shapes.
The graphics were then applied to the van, with the logo lettering, illustration and additional details positioned separately where needed.
Using a combination of printed panels and single-colour decals allowed us to achieve the different visual elements without committing to a full vehicle wrap.
It's a great approach when you want something more distinctive than basic van signwriting but don't necessarily need every inch covered.
And sometimes leaving a bit of the original vehicle showing is exactly what makes the design work.
The finishing touches at the back.
The rear of the van received just as much consideration.
The turquoise striped branding continues across the upper rear doors, carrying the GC Couture name and luxury cake messaging around the vehicle.
Below, we added the illustrated cake-carrying character, along with the company's website, contact information and a QR code.
It's a clean, carefully balanced layout that gives people the details they need without making the van look cluttered.
And then there's our favourite little finishing touch.
NO CAKES LEFT IN THIS VAN OVERNIGHT.
Which, frankly, seems like a very sensible policy.
It's a small detail, but exactly the sort of thing that adds personality and makes someone look twice.
Good branding doesn't always need to be serious.
Even when the cakes are exceptionally fancy.
A delivery van worthy of the occasion.
For a luxury cake business, presentation is everything.
And that doesn't necessarily stop at the cake box.
When a vehicle arrives at a wedding venue, hotel or private event, it's representing the business before anyone has even seen what's inside.
The GC Couture van now carries a consistent, recognisable identity that reflects the quality and attention to detail associated with the brand.
The turquoise panels catch the eye.
The gold-style lettering adds elegance.
And the illustrated details provide that little extra bit of character.
It's a combination that feels premium without being overly complicated.
Which is rather fitting for a company whose creations often do all the showing off themselves.
