Based in Gerrards Cross, Moji needed a re-brand to represent his quirky chain of barber shops. We wanted to create an identity with an idea that influenced all the touchpoints and communications. The simple ‘snip’ in the logo became our vehicle, and this idea of highlighting touches became a hallmark that defined the typography, iconography and colour use throughout.

More about this project

Moji is a passionate, helpful and talented barber in need of a a fresh branding. He needed an identity that represented everything his work stood for; an attention to detail and level of care for haircuts above all else. Toy Creative wanted to find a method of communicating his personality at the heart of the identity.

We created a visual identity using his name and a playful treatment to communicate his profession. The title of the ‘i’ in his name has been snipped, but we wanted to bring this into more than just his logo. We took this into all the headlines and messaging, to give the brand a really bespoke and identifiable visual style.

Reactions to the brand identity have been extremely positive. In terms of deliverable assets, we launched the brand with 600 leaflets, a brand suite including business cards, animation and stationary. We created his template for his social page and can’t wait to support him in his next phase of growth. Though his site is being produced by a different agency, you can visit his sight here, and see more of our work here.
